Words Dance takes submissions year round & tries to publish accepted poems Monday-Friday on the website.
I am only accepting submissions for poetry right now.
If you would like to be considered, please send 3-6 of your best, previously unpublished poems in the body of an email to:
wdsubmissions(at)gmail(dot)com
Here's a nifty checklist to make submitting easy for you, please include:
- Your first & last name
- A photo of yourself
- A one sentence bio that can include one link, be it to your website, blog, facebook page, etc.
Optional:
- Facebook &/or Twitter links
Please include titles for all poems, if they are untitled, please state so.
Submissions will be accepted based on the quality of the work.
I welcome a broad range of work, any style or form, formal or informal, experimental & conventional. Please sign up for Words Dance's mailing list to receive a free sample issue to give you an idea of what kind of poetry WD publishes. Check out the About page too. Really, what it comes down to is this:
Does it move me? Is it well-written?
If the answer is yes to both of those questions then the possibility of your work appearing will be greater.
All work that is submitted may be published in anthologies in the future.
